This won't really come as a big shock to any followers who have kept up with my journals/updates over the past two years - but I'm finally putting the rest of my gallery in storage to initiate the eventual shutdown of this account. I will still be finishing up the remaining overdue commissions and (when I can) issue refunds to those on my waiting list so to my commission clients please don't worry, my contact email isn't going anywhere and I'll leave this account up/online until all of my commission debts are paid/completed.
As for my followers/mutuals/friends I apologize for the gallery shutdown, but before I completely close this account down (hopefully by the end of this year) I promise to link you all to my portfolio once I actually get some of my original stuff up on it. I may upload some old works on it as well, I haven't decided yet though. For now, everything is just quietly sitting on the side until I have the time to get to it (busy, busy as always). Most of my artwork is zipped up in storage on my Dropbox, so I don't even have access to the majority of it anymore and downloading/exporting/uploading again would be a big pain lol.
I will not be uploading anything to this account anymore so I'm just going to finish what's left on my plate, send the finished products out to my remaining active commission clients, and be done with everything all at once. My husband and I are struggling pretty hard financially still (his injury has taken its toll), so we're working really hard to dig our way out through small project gigs and private contracts thanks to close art friends/mutuals. Basically everything's still pretty shit IRL, but hopefully by summertime we'll be out of this predicament and have a roommate to alleviate some financial burden and get our lives back on track. Life's been... pretty hard since 2016 to be honest lol, but I'm grateful for the friends/family I've still got around.
As always, I wish you all the best and if you have any questions then contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to get in touch.
Hope to see you all in the future,
